Shipping in the UK is free, and you'll get your box delivered in time for your class. We ship nationwide. What you'll do

Welcome to The Bar From Afar, the only virtual bar set up by the very best bartenders in the UK, if not the world.

Learn how to make three cocktails at home whilst having fun. Your expert bartender and teacher will help you mix your drinks and give you some great home hacks to mixing great drinks whilst the pubs are closed. Everything you need will be sent to you in your cocktail kit (see below).

Want to share this amazing cocktail kit with a family member, housemate, or an imaginary friend? Our couples boxes are an extra £35, giving your loved one a £5 discount to join in on the experience.

This live online class is perfect for a group of friends celebrating a special event, or staff looking for fun virtual team building activities. Boxes can be shipped all over the UK and much much further afield.

Whether you need fun things to do in Edinburgh, Manchester or Bristol, no matter where you all are in the UK, we can deliver a fun and tasty workshop.

Our team of bartenders have been mixing cocktails professionally since 2003, initially mixing drinks in people's homes and gardens, entertaining on a small and entertaining scale. Everything exploded with the launch of our website in 2005 and since then we've been shaking our stuff and teaching cocktail enthusiasts how to make cocktails, from small groups of hen parties, all the way through to entertaining corporate away-days of over 200 delegates.

Since 2020, we've taken our offering online, which, paired with our penchant for tech and our love of teaching, we created The Bar From Afar, a place for groups to get together and have fun with drinks as a group again, whether it be for a work's Christmas party, or a birthday of close friends desperate to see each other and have a bit of a boogie at the same time.

With us, you won't just be taught how to make some drinks, and we won't drone on about the intricacies of gin variants or the differences between Russian and Polish vodkas. Instead, we want to have fun with you - we miss making drinks face to face! We want to bring the fun of visiting a bar direct to you at home.
