Brilliant class, Kathryn is an amazing tutor who takes her time to be clear and ensure everyone is comfortable. I found the stitches a little tricky in the first lesson but with the video recording sent afterwards I was able to become more confident with the stitches. I have decided to make more sunflower squares and create a blanket. I have started a colourful version to make into a bag (using yarn left over from the granny square blanket course!). Highly recommend this workshop and the 6 week granny square workshop too.

It was a relaxing way to spend an hour. The tutor was friendly and enthusiastic. I think less time could have been spent on the pencil drawing to allow more time for the pen techniques to be shown on the drawing. The materials sent are good.

Excellent tuition and wonderful nature of the tutor to answer questions and give good instruction. I am pleased with how the cushion cover turned out!

It was fun to crochet an Easter egg! I learned a few new tricks of how to do an invisible decrease. The tutor, Kathryn, was enthusiastic and explained the steps well.

I took the loom weaving class last year so this was a great refresher and I was able to use the kit I had received previously which still had plenty leftover. I worked along with the tutor who provided great instruction. It has inspired me to finish another weaving.

This was an amazing course! I had a very small amount of crochet experience and found the course excellent to learn about stitches and pattern reading. The tutor, Kathryn, was fantastic at teaching each stitch and granny square style and checking in to see how everyone was getting on. The weekly recap videos were very helpful. We had a lovely group of people and I looked forward to the session each week. I am so pleased to have a finished blanket now. Thank you

Great kit, well worth the value of the class. I will be finishing my calendar off later as I did not have time in the class. It was relaxing to do. All advice and instructions were given on how to finish off the calendar and tips on personalising it.

I really enjoyed this class! The instructor gave detailed information of the process, discussed variations and ways to seal the baubles when they are dry. She encouraged people to have a go at marbling other things such as gift tags. It was fun and I am pleased with the way the baubles turned out.

Great class, very enjoyable and relaxing! I took the macrame wall hanging class and enjoyed it so then booked this class. I was the only person in the workshop so Gisela and I had time to chat about other projects and crafts we enjoy. I finished the plant holder within about 45 minutes after the class as all instruction and demonstration of how to finish had been given in the class. Overall, another great class from Hobbycraft!

Fun class with lots of great information. Loved learning to create with a limited palette. I felt a little rushed for part of the class and had trouble keeping up. Overall I am pleased with my painting although I definitely have room to improve! It was a great way to get creative.

The instructor was very enthusiastic and positive. She talked through each stroke to give everyone a chance to succeed. It was a good introduction to brush lettering. I have done other Hobbycraft classes online that I found more enjoyable and came away with an actual project.

This was a fantastic class! The instructor Rachel was knowledgeable and fun. It was a great introduction for me as I had never done any kind of weaving before. During the class we learnt the basics and got about quarter of the project complete. But I had enough knowledge to complete it independently throughout the rest of the day. Highly recommend this class. I hope Hobbycraft will provide further workshops for loom weaving so I can increase my skills and knowledge.

This was a fun mixed media class. We learned some great techniques which will be useful in other projects too. Jenny was a lovely instructor. A very enjoyable hour and good quality materials included in the kit.

I actually participated in this class twice as I wanted to gift the cloches and they were sold out to buy separately in store and online. Really enjoyable class, lovely artisan leading it and beautiful end results. Thank you!

It was a relaxing hour to craft with some clay. The artisan was enthusiastic about what he was showing and gave a few tips. The stars turned out cute and there is plenty of clay left for other projects. The included rolling pin was great and made it easy to level the clay quickly.

It was a great class, the led glass decorations turned out lovely. One of my cloches arrived broken but I was able to fully construct one cloche and partly make the other during the workshop. After contacting the team a replacement item was promptly sent out to me. I have booked another class!

A fun online class to make some cute Christmas decorations. It was very enjoyable, run well via Zoom with good camera angle to see what the artisan was doing. Clear explanations of the process. I had time to complete 4 decorations in the hour. Enjoyed it so much I booked another class.
