Broke the workshop down to 3 easy steps, taking the time to explain each step and all components fully.
Following the workshop up very quickly with a lovely email.

A bit short to cover things properly not Christie’s fault. Due to time restraints. .

Emma was a terrific teacher very patient and encouraging. Sharing lots of hints and tips.
Far superior to the class I attended in store in Glasgow which was hopeless no instruction and left to figure it out. .

Emma was excellent, showed how to properly use all the items and place them in the baubles. Giving instructions and hints and tips.
I had attended the in-store workshop in Glasgow which was rubbish the teacher just sat giving no instruction or help. A waste of money. That’s why I decided to re book glad I did albeit I had to pay twice.

Emma was excellent giving great hints and tips.
Emma included all the participants using their names which made you feel part of the workshop.

Teacher was lovely and the box provided had a variety of items to use.
Only letters and no numbers unfortunately.
I like that the teacher joined in to demonstrate different ways to decorate the stars and baubles.

The other participants made the class fun.
Very little instruction could do this on your own.

The teacher Jordyn made the class fun and enjoyable.
I Loved the banner we made.

Nov 2021

The teacher was jolly and inclusive.
The class itself was fun albeit not the full hour.

Nov 2021

The teacher was engaging.
The health an safety procedures were covered.
The class started on time however the teacher didn’t allow everyone in for the start with participant not let in until later.
A few tips were given including dipping in the candle which can occur.
However a hole appeared in my candle after it cooled no mention of the possibility of this happening, why or how to rectify to add at its in the future.

Beginner's Guide to Candle Making Workshop review by Eileen Ross

Nov 2021

The teacher was engaging.
Explained the health and safety aspects.
Advised what to do if the candle dipped, however when mine solidified I have a hole of which three was no mention. Not sure why, how to fix or prevent happening in the future.
The workshop could be a bit longer probably 90 minutes to save rushing.

Teacher was great Jordyn has settled into the teaching mode.
Very knowledgable and engaging.
Looking forward to the next workshop.

Oct 2021

The teacher was knowledgable and engaging.
As previously advised the venue was not ideal., during the class the teacher was again interrupted by a customer. This is totally unfair to the teacher and to the paying customers. The class should be in a designated area shut off from the mainstream customers. That is now three workshops which have been interrupted by mainstream customers.
I do not blame the teacher I believe it is the role of the managers to ensure that the teacher is not put in a position to either ignore the mainstream customer of the paying customer at the workshop. A sign directing customers away from the workshop to the cash desk with any enquiries.
I understand that the teacher should direct the mainstream customer again this is unfair as the teacher and the workshop participants can loose the thread .
Handouts on what is being covered would be a huge benefit as taking notes during the workshop is not ideal and can detract from the experiential learning.

Teacher was engaging.
Her product knowledge was reasonable and I’m sure her confidence will grow as she continues to carry out the role.
