Join this two-part ceramic workshop and learn how to sculpt and glaze your very own custom ceramic mug featuring your beloved pet! You'll be expertly guided by a professional ceramic designer throughout this special activity.This engaging workshop is split across two sessions to allow for the necessary firing processes:Session 1 – Sculpt & Build (1 hour)We’ll prepare a handmade mug base for you in advance, ready to work on. During this session, you’ll handbuild your pet’s unique shape – whether they’re a cat, dog, hedgehog, or another animal – and carefully attach it to the cup using ceramic techniques. Don't worry if you're new to clay; your instructor will guide you step-by-step, making the process accessible and fun. We’ll then bisque fire your finished piece in our studio kiln.Session 2 – Glaze & Colour (1 hour, approximately 1 week later)You’ll return to bring your creation to life with vibrant colour. Choose from a range of food-safe underglazes to paint your pet’s details – capturing their fur, eyes, collar, and all the little things that make them special. After painting, we’ll glaze and fire the mug one more time for the final, durable finish. After the second firing, your mug will be ready to collect or be posted to you.
