It has been 60 years since the infamous Great Train Robbery…

Join us for an unforgettable Great Train Robbery experience at the iconic Star Tavern in Belgravia. Hosted by an ex-Scotland Yard detective with years of experience investigating the most notorious crimes in London, this two-hour event will take you back in time to one of the most daring heists in British history. The great train robbery was actually planned in the upper room at the Star Tavern which is the venue for this amazing experience. This can be for individuals or a corporate team event.

As the lights dim and the scene is set, you will be transported to the night of August 8, 1963, when a gang of 15 robbers stopped a train carrying millions of pounds in banknotes. The ex-detective, who himself has done a review of the case, will guide you through the twists and turns of the investigation, revealing the tactics used by the robbers, and the complex police operation that finally brought them to justice.

Throughout the experience, you will have the opportunity to step into the shoes of the detectives, as you uncover the truth whilst getting hands-on with some of the forensics they used to catch the robbers. You will be taken to the nearby scene of a major GTR arrest.

But the action doesn't stop there. Whilst the case is being unravelled, you will have the chance to relax in the Star Tavern - a historic pub favoured by literary legends such as Agatha Christie and Charles Dickens – order soft drinks, a plate of delicious food, or the famous Fuller's beer, while chatting with your fellow detectives.

Whether you're a seasoned crime aficionado or simply looking for a fun and unique activity, the Great Train Robbery experience at the Star Tavern is not to be missed. So gather your friends, sharpen your minds, and get ready for an event filled with intrigue and adventure.
