In this engaging weaving class at Saan 1 Gallery in Manchester's vibrant Northern Quarter, you'll learn how to create your own unique planter weave using a variety of materials. You'll craft a beautiful piece to take home and proudly display, incorporating an array of textures and colours.
As you settle into the creative process, you'll find yourself relaxing and unwinding amongst friends. This hands-on activity is perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike. There's no need to worry about your skill level - the joy is in the journey of intertwining different materials and watching your creation come to life.
During the class, you'll work with an exciting range of materials, including:
All different types and colours of yarn, including recycled t-shirt yarn
Please note: Sheep's wool will be used in this workshop.
You'll learn how to combine these diverse elements, creating a woven planter cosy that's uniquely yours. As you weave, you might find yourself getting pleasantly lost in the rhythmic, meditative process.
