Food and cooking are in my blood – how can you grow up in an Italian family without that being the case? Let alone with an Italian chef as a father.

I trained as a Home Economist and have over 20 years experience as a College Lecturer. My main food influences stem back to my Italian background, learning to cook with my Nonna, Mama and Papa. Over the years I spent many holidays in rural Italy with the extended family and village community, cooking (and eating!), as all across Italy, food is still the central part of everyday life. I like to cook the way Italian families have eaten for generations, focusing on seasonal, local and inexpensive food.

My Italian-inspired cookery classes are designed to give you the skills and ideas to inspire and equip you to produce great food, with the minimum of fuss and the maximum of enjoyment – from everyday family meals to ideas for special meals to impress.

Great day, learnt lots, host was very friendly, very good teacher. As it was hands on, makes it easy to continue to improve at home. Inspirational class. Would recommend

Amazing, amazing class to try. Really enjoyed our class. It was so much fun to do and we met a lovely group of friends.
We learnt how to make the pasta dough, we made tagliatelle and angel hair. We were taught how to make different pasta shapes and ravioli. At the end of the class we sat around a table and ate our meal together. Definitely a class to try. We will be looking at booking another class very soon.

A very warm friendly welcome awaits you cakes and coffee starters over which Adele gives you a potted history of her Italian back ground. The course goes through a mix of demonstration and practical cooking at which you get to cook some fantastic sauces which you try out during the day with the rest to take away. All of which were reasonably easy to create and great to taste. Would highly recommend this course for anyone wishing to learn how to create easy sauces to add to pasta for meal times. You won’t be disappointed.

It was just great. From a very warm welcome, clear and easy to follow demonstrations, a well equipped kitchen in a beautiful property to dining on our prepared meals. A lovely experience and would highly recommend.
