Had a fantastic two hour pottery taster session. Our instructor, Jess, gave a quick demo on the basics of centreing and working with the clay - after that, it was all hands on deck (or pottery wheel i should say) and you were free to spin, mould and shape pretty much whatever you wanted, with Jess on hand to provide further help where required. The groups are small (8-10) which allowed Jess to keep an eye on how everyone was doing. In truth, i could have spent another 2 hours at the wheel as the session goes so quickly. Participants are given the option to have their work glazed and fired in the kiln at an extra cost - these items are ready to collect (or delivered) a few weeks after the event. Would recommend for any age group and really good value for money :)

My partner and I did the class as a birthday treat and had a great time. Neither of us had ever tried pottery before, Jess did a great job of explaining everything for beginners and helped as and when we needed assistance. It was a lovely place, warm and friendly. I felt really welcomed, had lots of fun. The beginner session was great, easy to understand, teacher was friendly, wonderful and helpful. Taught us the skills and explained the logic behind it well. It was a lot to take on for someone who's completely new about pottery making. I wish the session could be a little bit longer though, like 2.5 hours.

Had such a fun experience! This was my first time at pottery and it will not be my last. Our teacher, Avalon was fantastic! Very hands-on (forgive the pun), providing help for everyone. She was patient and we got individual attention, even as part of a large group. The 2hr class also provided plenty time to practice making shapes and getting a feel for the wheel. I even managed to create a decent pot and vase by the end of the session! Highly recommend if you're looking for a creative activity with friends!

For something we've never done before, this pottery class was great and super chill. We loved following each step and seeing our creations come to life. Our teacher Margot was fab!
