Very friendly & welcoming group, all levels of painters & newcomers.Warm, inviting tutor that was very open to questions & went at a steady pace. All materials provided, plus drinks & biscuits.Tutor is very encouraging & gives tips & hints on your style & use of colour. Our project didn’t use any drawing as such and was all done with masking tape & brush strokes. I have never used watercolour before & felt I managed a passable picture. The fox was traced from a projected image, then filled in with ink.I have already booked on the next class.

We painted a kingfisher in watercolour. It was a really enjoyable evening. Very relaxing. We learned a lot. The host was very informative, explaining everything as we went along, encouraging and very helpful. Completely enjoyed the evening and looking forward to going again in the future.

This week we painted a wolf and Tara showed us a new technique for use on backgrounds. I love the way Tara tries to keep things fresh and interesting. Tara demonstrates endless patience and is always very encouraging toward my granddaughter who finds things challenging at times. Because of Tara's relaxed and friendly approach my granddaughter is thoroughly enjoying the classes and as not given up after a couple of sessions as I had expected her to. I've been to a few of Taras classes now and thoroughly enjoyed them all. I've also recently taken my 13 year old granddaughter who Tara made welcome from the outset and has been very encouraging toward. She always knows what to say if you're a little unsure and this is really helping my granddaughter enjoy the classes. I thought she would give up after trying it once but she has been keen to keep going. Thank you once again Tara for a fab class Tracy S.

Had another amazing session this evening. Everything you could need is provided, along with friendly, easy to follow guidance. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try water paints, there is a wide age range and skill set at each session and everyone leaves with something they can be proud of. Have included photos of our Puffins, completed by my daughter, my mother and myself :)

I stepped out of my comfort zone and went to my first water colour class. The teacher gave a warm greeting and guided us through the steps of painting a mouse on a branch of blackberries. She was very approachable and encouraging, which is good for a novice like me because you felt comfortable asking questions and help when needed.I look forward to having another go.

Having not picked up a paint brush since being at school, I fulfilled a retirement plan and started painting again yesterday evening at Tara’s class. I have also been inspired recently by friends who have taken up painting.I entered the class with some trepidation and left with a completed owl picture achieved with Tara’s patience and excellent teaching skills.I thoroughly enjoyed the class it was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and I have booked for next time. This was my second class with Tara. This time we painted an owl. High quality materials were provided and step by step instruction given. Very easy to follow along and we were all encouraged to put our own interpretation on the picture. All turned out different but all were equally good. If you haven't been to one of Tara's classes you are really missing out. Thoroughly recommend these classes and can't wait for my next one.

Taras class was fabulous, it was my first experience as a total novice with water colour and I really enjoyed it, everything required was supplied to paint a badger and Tara was so helpful and kind, she explained everything step by step and nothing was a problem for her. I took my sister and her husband along, she's had a Stroke so was not too confident, but again Tara really helped and supported her, she was brilliant. It really was a great evening with a lovely atmosphere and everybody produced a lovely piece of art, I would highly recommend.

Absolutely excellent water colour class. We were taken step by step through the process of painting a badger whilst also being encouraged to embrace our own styles so no two badger paintings were identical. Lots of support given and as a result we all had good paintings to take home. I will definitely be booking another class.
