Really enjoyed the beginners embroidery class. Teacher was great - very clear explanations and demonstration of the various stitches at a level and pace which made it very easy to follow. Great class for starting out in embroidery. The teacher was brilliant and had so many designs to choose from - spoilt for choice. Really helpful tips and 121 tuition added to the value. Good chat as well so 3 hours passed really quickly. Talked through the basic stitches we would need for our pattern, I chose a dragonfly. Samantha is fun and kind, made the experience fun and creative, and she is great at explaining and also helping each person individually troubleshoot if they encounter an issue. Trying something new. Very friendly and knowledgeable tutor. All materials necessary to make an embroidery drum of my choice. There were only 4 of us in the class, so it was be very friendly. We each chose a pattern (and one person drew theirs) and we were walked through how to start, and give it six different basic stitches. It was very useful to have the class, and I look forward to finishing my piece! Recommend as a great intro to embroidery as she's makes it quite accessible for beginners!

Had such an enjoyable morning! Sammy was very friendly and helpful, and the small group meant that we could all see clearly as she was demonstrating the different stitches, and she was able to give us all individual help/advice if required.
Lots and lots of choice of beautiful embroidery kits all suitable for beginners- so hard to choose!- and the materials, thread, embroidery hoop etc are all very good quality. Very good value for money.
I’m pretty much a beginner, and by the end of the session, I felt able to go home and continue confidently with my piece.

Could not recommend this class with Sammy more highly! What an absolutely brilliant few hours we had and learned a wonderful new hobby that I can’t wait to do more of. The class was really well paced and Sammy did a great job of showing us the different kinds of stitches and giving us practice of them one at a time so we could get the hang of it. We could choose what design kit we wanted to do (amazing variety to choose from) and then we got to take everything home to finish it with our newfound knowledge. Sammy was so warm and friendly and knowledgeable and it was a nice class size - it felt like we were just a group of friends hanging out doing some stitching! Communication beforehand was great too with an email from Sammy with all the details we needed to find the studio and how to contact her on the day if we needed. 10/10.
