Make your own quilt at this four-session sewing class in Worcester Park and learn new skills in a fun and friendly environment.
Guided by experienced sewing tutor Anna, you'll learn how to quilt a lap or cot-sized quilt using the layout and method that suits you best.
You'll learn about each stage of quilting during this London sewing class, covering designing, cutting, patchworking and binding. You'll of course also be shown how to master the quilting element - stitching all your quilt layers together. Your teacher will introduce you to a range of methods and you'll have a chance to try them before deciding which method to use for your quilt.
This beginner quilting course spans four weeks to give you plenty of time to build your skills and create something beautiful. You'll need to provide your own fabric for your quilt - there's more info on what to bring below.
Your tutor Anna is an experienced tutor from The Sewing Nut Studio and has appeared on the TV programme, Sewing Quarter demonstrating how to quilt. You'll be in good hands with Anna and will be supported throughout your workshops to make a quilt you'll be proud of.
At the end of your sewing classes, there will be a chance to share ideas about what kind of quilt you’d like to make next, and where to find additional resources so you can continue your quilting journey and look forward to new projects.
