Knowledge required
The ability to sew a straight line on a sewing machine.
What you'll get
- Your own lap/cot-sized quilt to take home.
- Light refreshments.
What to bring
For sessions one and two:- Fabric to create your patchwork front design - 5 x fat quarters - different patterns, or plain.
- Complimentary fabric pieces measuring at least 18 in x 22 inches (45cm x 56cm).
- Approx 0.5m cutting practice fabric, can be offcuts from previous projects, old cotton clothing, or purchased new - calico can work.
- To complete your quilt - 1 x pack of crib sized wadding according to your preferences (your teacher will discuss this with you and give you some tips on what to get in session one).
- 1m backing fabric, plain or patterned cotton (at least 112cm wide).
- 1m solid colour practice fabric (at least 112cm wide), calico is acceptable.

This class series runs over 4 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.
