What you'll do
Looking for fun things to do in St Albans? Whether you're looking to update your photography skills or want creative activities to do with the family, this private smartphone photography safari is sure to tick all your boxes. Guided by Jet, an enthusiastic local photographer, you'll embark on a tour through the gorgeous city of St Albans, taking photos as you go.
Whether you're interested in architecture, botany or landscape photography, you'll learn how to spot, frame and shoot professional-quality photos using nothing more than the phone in your pocket. Jet will be on hand to offer handy hints and tips to help get some truly Insta-worthy shots.
Your session will also include a sit down over some refreshments, where Jet will take you through the editing process using an intuitive, free photo editing app. It's an ideal way to get to know this gorgeous part of the country a bit better, and pick up some nifty skills while you're at it.

You can book this private session either as a one-to-one class for individuals; or as a family (up to 2 adults and up to 4 children under 18).

Jet is the founder and Creative Director of Jet Black Squares. Combining her former teaching career in the East End of London with a more recent corporate photography business of 13 years, she has created a hub for everything creative surrounding the smartphone. Her passion is showing people of all ages how to get the best photos from their phone - she believes that photography should be available to everyone and not just those who have a ‘fancy camera’. Jet’s infectious enthusiasm is evident for all to see, whether teaching the CEO of an international company, presenting to a conference of 100+ clients within the travel industry or an 85-year-old grandma. She can often be seen whizzing around the streets of Hertfordshire on Basil, her gorgeous Vespa scooter.
