This pottery making journey takes place in a relaxed and intimate environment in a newly set up pottery studio. Each week, you'll enjoy the perfect opportunity to indulge your creativity, unwind and develop new and exciting skills.

With the careful and supportive guidance of talented potter, Vinicius, you'll learn a variety of techniques whilst getting hands-on with your own clay creations.

New to pottery? This is the ideal course for you – as there is a maximum of four students, you'll enjoy plenty of one-on-one attention and on-hand help throughout.

Each class will focus on a different specific technique, from pinching and coiling to slab building and wheel throwing. During the last session, you'll get creative with colour application and surface decoration.

At the end of this pottery making course, expect to be fully capable of planning and creating your own pottery pieces independently using a whole host of newfound techniques and skills.

Colour & Clay is a place, an idea and a refuge created during the COVID-19 pandemic by Vinicius Les and Boglarka Eliz Les-Varga.

Our aim is to help individuals to connect with each other, develop a new passion, for families to learn together with their children and enjoy some mental respite.

Vinicius is a London based ceramics artist and painter. He learned the skills of pottery and ceramics from a very young age in his father's studio. Having completed higher educational studies in both Ceramics and Fine Art-Painting, Vinicius embarked on a 10-year journey in London, creating and teaching what he loves and has a passion for: pottery and ceramics.

Working with various organisations, Vinicius has formed a strong interest and skill in teaching individuals of all abilities including individuals with physical or/and learning disabilities or difficulties by helping them find their voice through pottery and art.
