Join talented Talia from Clay with Carole and learn how to make gorgeous clay creations.
In this pottery workshop, you will learn how to make and decorate something you can be proud of using the pinch pot method. From candle holders, flower planters, cups, trinket dishes, bowls and saucers, you can choose what functional or decorative piece of pottery you would like to make!
This handmade pottery class is a great activity for corporate team building events, as a play with clay is great for stress relief, meaning your team can relax, bond and get creative together.
You will have the option to use white clay and then paint what you make using a huge selection of beautiful glazes. Following your session your makes will be glazed in a clear gloss and fired ready to be collected at a later date from the studio or posted for an extra postage fee. Alternatively, you can choose to use air drying clay which will not need to be fired and can then be taken away with you on the day. Air drying clay dries hard, can be later painted using acrylic paint and will be decorative only whereas with white clay the pots will become pottery following firing and can be used functionally.
But your unique pots are not all you'll walk away from this pottery class with, you'll also have some new pottery making skills under your belt and an experience to remember!

What to bring
We recommend cutting your fingernails prior to this workshop as short nails make it easier to form your pinch pots (specifically your thumb and index fingernails on your preferred/writing hand).
 
Suitable for

This class is great for a team building activity, Christmas party or hen do.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 5 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adult may observe at the class for free.
