Come and meet Johanna in her gorgeous South West London studio space, in Battersea. You'll have the opportunity to craft your own pair of earrings using polymer clay.
This workshop will introduce you to the entire jewellery creation process, starting with the design selection and progressing through various stages, including the key techniques of modeling and embellishing your design. Johanna has an array of inspirations for you to rifle through, giving you a chance to come up with a personal design. You can also take a look through her own work for her jewellery brand Ballota Nigra. Once you've chosen your design. Johanna teaches the group to roll out the clay and cut it into the desired shapes. Then the experimenting begins! You have the chance to embellish your pieces with mark-making using jewellery tools or adding gold plating, beads or glitter, transforming your earrings into beautiful individual pieces.
At the end of the session, you can take home your creations, elegantly packaged in a special box prepared by Johanna.
Johanna's workshop is a calming environment, great for making new friends, or bringing a group! Fancy creating matching bridesmaids earrings, or a Mother/daughter making session in a peaceful environment?! This is the workshop for you!
