Introduction to Sand Casting Jewellery Workshop

Booked for my 50th birthday as a treat for me my two daughter's and my mum. A great workshop where we all made the most beautiful bangles. Kevin was very patient and spent a lot of time explaining every stage. Would definitely recommend.

Came to do this class as a valentines present. The class was great fun and Kevin was a brilliant teacher. Every step of the process was explained and it’s amazing watching your ring change through each step. Will definitely be back!

Arden was a fantastic teacher, with a brilliant studio space. Instructions were really clear and broken down into step by step sections, Arden was also always on hand to answer questions and give extra help! I came away really proud of the ring I made and will wear it all the time!

I'm a complete novice at silverwork. We received helpful information by email in advance and were welcomed into the studio by the tutor. We were asked to bring our own leaves which was a little challenging so early in the season but spares were provided if needed. The process was explained clearly and the teacher was on hand to give support and advice and help with the drying and firing process. With a small group there was plenty of individualised support.

I had a great time at this workshop, Arden was so friendly and helpful, taking the time to go through the steps and helping everyone with their rings. The studio was intimate which adds to the appeal, really well maintained with all the tools needed to make beautiful rings! It was a really fun day and would definitely attend other workshops by Arden!

The location was lovely - a studio in the back of a house in a leafy London neighbourhood. Supplies were all there, and prepared. Each work station had all the tools needed. The instructor was excellent - she found the perfect balance of explanation and letting us work things out, kindly helping with challenges without crowding or judging. Her explanations of what we were doing (and why) were very good. It was friendly and fun. Really enjoyed it, and the item I made.

The course was well organised and broken down into bite sized chunks where you would then work on your own piece. Arden is an approachable, calm & knowledgeable teacher, who has created a relaxed and welcoming environment giving an insight into her craft. I had a lovely morning making my necklace with 3 other ladies. It was a really enjoyable experience, one I hope to repeat. I would highly recommend these classes.

Really lovely morning with Arden at her studio in Chiselhurst. Arden was a great teacher and explained everything really well, even if some of us (me!) needed it explaining three times! All the equipment was set up ready for everyone and we each had individual work spaces within the dedicated workshop. My daughter and I came home with lovely pieces of jewellery feeling quite pleased with ourselves. Thank you from Annie and Abbie.

Class was located in a lovely setting. The instructor was punctual, most knowledgeable and fully prepared. All tools and materials were available. The class was exactly what I hoped for and I was delighted with the result. Good classes are expensive. This one gave me all the information I need to proceed on my own and that, I value.

The stacking ring workshop was amazing! The teacher was really patient & friendly, there was a fun atmosphere but we learnt so much. The workshop is really well equipped in an idyllic setting and lots of materials to chose from. The teacher was really knowledgeable and I feel inspired for my next piece! I would really recommend the workshop & will book others. I am thrilled with the pieces I made, all individual choice & to my style; everyone’s in the class looked different too which shows the creative options. I’d recommend reading the instructions sent ahead of the class which help to find the location & bring your own lunch, it really helped to know that info.
