Basic watercolours was what I signed up for… far more than basic is what I learnt. Lidia is a natural teacher which has a gentle way of teaching, and really has a passion for and knows her art. We started with colour washes, paint thicknesses and brush techniques, and were painting with tones and shapes. A great starter to then continue to paint without fear from at home. Lidia shared her art and passion with us, and it was infectious! Now, I just love to put her teaching into practice to explore this new medium! And she’s always keen to see our work as we go forward, and gives us tips to continue to develop.. thank you Lidia! What a gift you share ️️️️️I hope an intermediate class is on the horizon!!

Great course. Well delivered. Learned and relearned a lot. I will do another in the future.Location is very good as well as interesting too.Very recommendable - which I already have done since finishing the course.

I really loved the course, Lidia created a really welcoming atmosphere and I've learnt so much in a short space of time. I particularly loved watching how Lidia approached painting a seascape and then following her lead. It helped me understand a lot about working in layers, adding texture, and composition. I would definitely be interested in further classes.

I was a comp!ete beginner but found Lucia to be a very patient tutor as the class was composed of people with varying levels of experience with watercolours.During the sessions I have gained an awareness of the important fundamental principles of working with watercolour and now feel able to continue practicing these to improve my own skills.Thank you Lidia

I’ve just completed Lidia’s 6 week Watercolour for beginners course and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was a newbie starting out but Lidia keeps the groups small so she can accommodate everyone attending and give you individual guidance whatever your ability. I found it really useful being able to practice mixing colours and not being scared to try different ones to see what worked. Each session we did something different and worked through it stage by stage following her guidance. Lidia’s patience throughout the 6 weeks meant that whatever question was asked, she had an answer and was able to adapt her answer to what we were doing that session. She’s given me the confidence and ability to build in some well-being time just for me each week and paint! I was also lucky to be amongst a lovely group of people and what a pleasure it was to see the different pieces of work we all produced. Highly recommend her workshops.

My teacher Lidia organised a realy good venue for my leeson as I lived outside the home visit area. The lesson went well giving a good insight into water colour painting and I can highly reccomend the tutorial for anyone interested in getting started.
