What you'll do

This unique London painting class will guide you through the steps of painting your furry friend. Enjoy this class and learn to paint with like-minded others in a relaxed environment.

Guided by an expert painting teacher, you'll learn to paint an expression that reflects your dog's unique personality. You'll be encouraged to look at the world through your dog's eyes and your relationship with your special companion will inspire your painting practice, allowing you to express yourself creatively in new ways.

Email a photograph of your dog which captures their unique qualities to your teacher when you book your spot on this fun painting class. Your teacher will use your photo to prepare a template for you to use when you arrive at your session.

This is a must-do in London for any dog-loving friends. Or join solo to meet other dog owners keen to learn to paint. No experience is needed to enjoy this relaxing painting class - it's a perfect opportunity for beginners!

Melissa had been responsive to my questions before I decided to buy a class. The venue was lovely and central. Even though I had zero painting skill, my picture looked amazing. It was easy to follow the instructions. I really enjoyed my painting class today.

Only negative was not suitable for people with mobility requirements. I am also recovering from a close bereavement. Melissa was patient and encouraging, learnt more about colour mixing and the materials were accessible . The therapeutic experience was good value for money We all came out with a replica of the photograph taken

Very good experience. Well taught, and as a beginner I felt very supported in the process. Great that you have the option to have your pet sketched ahead of time to give you a good foundation to work from. The space was very generous and appropriate for the class and the painting tools supplied made it easy to complete the painting. Would highly recommend for a date activity or to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday.

A lovely and enjoyable experience, which has motivated us to take up painting on a regular basis.

The only negative comment I have, is that the venue was a little cramped and dingy. The artist was very helpful.

We did provide a separate room for the two of you and you had a private class with no-one in that part of the room for the price of a public ticket. We also provided additional bright lighting with a large lamp next to both of your canvases which in my professional opinion was well-lit for painting and seeing clearly.

We really enjoyed this painting class - it was in a great location, easy to find and very clear instructions. The teacher was helpful and prepared the sketches beforehand. I was very happy with the end result and now have a memory of my dog that I will always cherish. Would recommend the experience.

The teacher Jemima was very very sweet and happy to help and support as much as necessary and also the venue is beautiful and the environment is friendly and relaxed, thanks to her help I managed to get to draw a much better picture than expected so I learnt a lot about basics of painting, and most of all we had lots of fun, I recommend it!

Enjoyed the venue, was very spacious with natural light. We had a private area in a restaurant so there was good access to bathrooms and food/drink which was nice. It was a small group so we got individual time from the teacher Melissa who was approachable and helpful. It was a fun and easy experience as all materials were provided and even bags to bring the art home in. Would definitely go again!

Had a great experience on Saturday drawing my dog. Melissa and Katie prepared sketches in advance, which we then used as a template to paint. During the class we were given lots of tips to how to adjust the shades, light, add volume, improve the texture and even out the background. Having no experience in painting, we felt very proud of the results!

Melissa was lovely. Purchased this as a surprise birthday present for our friend and she loved it. The 2 hours flew by and our paintings made a memorable gift. Don’t be afraid to be bold and try something different!
