If you've ever wanted to take up drawing but didn't know where to start, this one-to-one drawing course in London will give you everything you need to start your artistic journey.

Hosted in the striking Reading Room at the Wellcome Collection in Euston, you'll be tutored by an experienced fine art practitioner in all aspects of drawing with graphite pencils. Over the course of eight one-to-one sessions, you'll be able to focus on any aspect of drawing that catches your imagination — from realistic still-life drawings to impressionistic portraiture, the course is tailored to your skills and needs.

Don't worry if you've never even picked up a pencil before, as the sessions are designed with beginners in mind, and everything will be provided for you before your first class, so all you need to bring with you is a love for art! Whether you want to take up sketching as a creative outlet or want to give your child's GCSE or A-Level art portfolio a boost, this class offers the ideal starting point for anyone keen to learn to draw.


What you'll get
  • One-on-one tuition from an experienced fine art practitioner.
  • An art kit containing everything you need to get started, which you'll take home with you after the class. This comprises three graphite pencils, a sharpener, rubber, an A4 sketchbook, a 3D canvas and a pencil case.

Your teacher

Patricia is a qualified Fine Art Practitioner, a Visual Artist and a Private Art Tutor. She studied contemporary fine art and passed with honours at Sussex University and subsequently went on to exhibit artworks in group exhibitions.

Patricia's successful journey has led her wanting to share her skills, techniques and experiences with others, so now you can benefit from her years of experience with private art tutoring. Patricia is a firm believer in the philosophy that art is for everyone, and that anyone can learn to draw, and she loves to see her students' progress as they embark on their artistic journey.
