I booked this course as I have a sightseeing holiday coming up and I wanted to make the most of it with some great photos. I was lucky enough to be the only person booked on the day so I got a lot packed in to the couple of hours. Jet showed me lots of tips on how to use some of the tools on my Samsung camera that I had no idea about, also how to take unusual pictures rather than my usual go to, which is to aim, take a picture and hope for the best! I found her to be an excellent teacher—friendly, approachable, and very helpful. A couple of things she taught me were how to add a splash of colour to a black and white photo - (very effective,) & how to take a photo facing upwards without breaking your neck looking up! Also a novel way to take a photos with reflections. She also showed me a great app for editing the pictures, so all thats left now is to put it all into practice. Fortunately I don’t have to rely on my memory as Jet sent me notes on everything that she taught, me which is great because it is a lot to take in and remember. If you are reading this, then I presume that you are thinking about taking better photos on your phone and I would definitely recommend Jet's photography class.

I learned a lot. We started experimenting with shots. Photographic techniques and things about the apps I didn't know, and also editing over coffee at the end. The latter of limited use as the app was new to me and I do most if any editing on my PC with other tools. Also clip lenses.

Had an enjoyable informative couple of hours in St James Park increasing my knowledge of using my iPhone for photography. It has such a powerful camera that I wanted to make better use of it.
Jet was very knowledgeable and helped me tweak the camera settings and how to get the best out of it. There were only 2 people on the smart phone photography course which was great. It was easy to book (I had an gift voucher bought by my daughter for my birthday) and communication with Jet was excellent.
She has since sent me a summary of what we covered and notes on how to use a free powerful editing app that we used on the day.(Better that the Apple editing tool and straightforward to use.

I booked a smartphone photography experience with Jeanne as a birthday gift for my sister, and we both had such a lovely time.
Jeanne was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. She was very open to our ideas and suggestions, while also giving us lots of great insight into what makes an interesting photograph and, importantly, how to actually achieve it.
I learnt so much about my own phone camera. I discovered that some of my camera settings had been wrong all along, and that I wasn't making use of anywhere near the full range of tools and features available to me! Jeanne showed us how to get much more from our cameras and encouraged us to think differently about composition, angles and the kinds of shots we might normally walk straight past.
I was also really impressed that, although Jeanne hadn't used Ware as a location for one of her classes before, she had taken the time to visit beforehand and scope out different locations and ideas for photographs. That extra effort really showed and made the experience feel very well thought out and personal.
Jeanne really made the experience. We came away having had a genuinely lovely time together, but also feeling inspired to be more creative with our photography and much more confident about what our phone cameras can actually do.
I would absolutely recommend Jeanne to anyone wanting to improve their smartphone photography — whether you're a complete beginner or, like me, you simply didn't realise how much your camera could actually do!

Really enjoyed the class with Mike! Had the luck of a 1-1 session for 3 hours which was really beneficial. I learnt the importance of detail in each camera shot, and placement of subjects, as well as maximising lighting. Mike was kind enough to inform of where I can also grab high-quality video-shooting equipment too, and taught me all sorts of neat tricks on the 'Edits' app. I loved the fact that is was engaging, we shot a few videos and edited together which was insightful. Would defintely reccomend his services to anyone interested in learning more about videography and editing.
