I was bought the smartphone experience as a birthday present and didn't know what to expect. However the teacher Jack brought the whole thing to life for, he was very clear in his instruction and was never rushed. Jack was obviously very knowledgeable about his subject and made the afternoon an enjoyable experience.
The thing I liked most was that no assumption was made about prior knowledge, this helped me a great deal in the learning process.

Our teacher was fab. She was very amenable to meeting in a slightly different location at KingsX than was first suggested. I organised this workshop for our work team - a mixed group of science and data nerds, hoping it would spark some joy, encourage our creativity but at the same time not put anyone off who might think they aren't very 'creative'. It certainly met those expectations. Everyone in our team really enjoyed the experience. I heard phrases like "wow, that's a real game changer" and we've since been sharing our photos of KingsX to impress each other with our new skills and know how. Even the office dog, who is very photogenic, enjoyed the experience and all the attention. I would highly recommend.

Super nice and flexible. Communication was great. We had a nice walk where she gave us several tips to improve our photos, from setting up your phone camera correctly, to learning how to look for the right light/reflections. It was so nice to be a part of a Christmas Smartphone Photography workshop. Me and my daughter had a lovely time with Tim. He showed as tricks and help as set up our phones and give as some recommendations on apps which we could use. We had a tour around Covent Garden where we shoot beautiful pictures. Jet is very warm and welcoming - and answered all my newbie questions. We got some great, immediately-useable advice and the quality of our pics has improved significantly. It's turned me from someone who rarely takes pics (as I don't think I take very good ones) to someone who's looking to apply what they've learned knowing they can take _better_ pics.

Given your phone is almost-always on you, I highly recommend everyone does this. Worst-case scenario - you'll have some good company while checking out a vibrant part of London. Almost-certain cenario - you'll do that and come away with several tweaks that will immiedately up your photography game.
