Bought this experience for my wife’s birthday to do something a bit different. We both really enjoyed it! Rowan talked us through what to do, encouraged us and was really chatty and friendly. We learnt about the plants, materials and how to care for our terrariums. Would highly recommend if you want a couples activity that’s creative, easy to do, relaxed and fun.

The teacher was super charismatic and fun, she had a really positive energy. We made terrariums and loved designing where all the plants would fit. It was very easy to get our gift cards and loved the experience. 10/10 would go again l!

This class was so enjoyable for me and my mum. The teacher was friendly and engaging. She shared a lot of information without it being overwhelming and I came out of the class feeling very happy with my creation. Would highly recommend this workshop if you're looking for a creative and relaxing project to do with someone.

We had a wonderful time at the terrarium making class at Green and Grounded in Sale! Matt and Rowan are so knowledgeable and made us feel really welcome. It was a fantastic afternoon in a relaxed environment. They answered all the questions we had with ease - I even got tips about how to care for my house plants! A lovely touch was that we were able to get a drink from the Cantina next door to bring to the class with us. I highly recommend taking this class for a fun, unique and relaxing experience!

Amazing teachers who gave lots of interesting facts throughout the session, which really made the information stick. I particularly enjoyed all of the tips and tricks for plant care and where best to place the terrarium. Would definitely recommend, the bigger the group the better!

Really good teachers. Great little venue. No prior knowledge required. You will be really surprised by how good your first attempt looks. Transport it home carefully - it was definitely neater before I took it on the M60!

Such an amazing class led by Rowan and Matt!!! I took my dad for his birthday, and we both had such a great time. The atmosphere was so chilled and Rowan was so informative and lovely. Matt was super handy in providing materials and advice. Id recommend this class to anyone wanting something a bit different, and you end up with such a cool terrarium you've crafted yourself. The terrarium workshop was amazing! We learnt so much about plants and the construction of the terrarium eco system. Not only did we have a great time but we made something we can bring home that will always remind us of it :)

I booked this class for my sister's birthday and boy am I so pleased I did!!! What a wonderful experience. Matt was brilliant with explaining everything we were doing and all about care of the terrarium and lots of little interesting know how's. He even had great Take That knowledge too!!The end product is fabulous and we felt completely relaxed and at ease in beautiful surroundings. I booked the terrarium workshop as a family birthday event for my wife. My wife and family were not disappointed. The owner was a fantastic and knowledgeable host and everyone at the workshop ended up with their own unique terrarium design. The owner was also able to answer questions and provide advice for other plant projects or poorly plant rescue. A great evening.

Fabulous class! I booked it for my friend’s birthday and we had a great time. Matt was a great teacher. We made a beautiful terrarium and had a lot of fun doing it. The shop is lovely and we ended up buying some of the fab plants that they stock. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

What a wonderful experience this workshop was. We built our own terrariums from scratch, guided by a teacher who brought the whole thing to life with fascinating trivia about the plants and the history of terrariums — it felt genuinely enriching rather than just a craft class. Their technique tips were clear and well-judged, making the whole process approachable even for complete beginners.The setting is lovely, the materials are high quality, and the atmosphere was warm and social — there was a real sense of camaraderie in the group that made the afternoon fly by. Best of all, I left with a terrarium I’m genuinely proud of. Highly recommend!

Booked this workshop for my daughter and myself for her birthday. Hand-tied Flower ArrangingThe session was very enjoyable. The teacher was lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Having not taken a course like this before I didn't know what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised.The session was both informative and enjoyable. We were taken through the various steps of making the best of the flowers we had, how to best hold and place them, cut them and fit them to the vase. The hour and a half went very quickly The process for acquiring a gift card was easy.I would recommend this workshop to anyone.

Took my mum for her 50th Birthday. Easy to rearrange time. She loved every second. We were taken quite slowly, each step was carefully explained and would love to do it again. Sadly it didn't survive the train home but my mums did. Would love 2 have the option of different plants like biophytum sensitivum or a few of the same to choose from. Can't wait to do another x

A group of seven of us attended a Terrarium Building Workshop at as a team building event on 17th March at Green and Grounded in Sale, Greater Manchester. It totally exceeded all expectations from start to finish. The session was welcoming, well organised and held in a beautiful setting and we all made gorgeous terrariums that we're thrilled with. Both Rowan and Matt were brilliant at explaining techniques in a clear, step-by-step way. They moved around the room offering encouragement and practical tips and, best of all, were full of humour and fun! All attendees agreed that it was the best team event we had ever been to!
