Really good and fun class. Classes are small which mean the teacher is able to come over and assist. The teacher was very engaging and taught us well. Loved my final piece!

Really fun class. The instructors are very knowledgeable and can guide you towards good technique without taking over so you learn how to improve.

The class was a short walk from the underground, and instructions on finding the studio were quite clear.

I reccommend giving it a try if you want a fun activity outside of central London and are a beginner to pottery.

We opted for the 2 hour session and it was very much worth it, the teachers were very good at what they do. They allow you to explore yourself and help you when you need it. Overall great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our class.

For a taster session, 2 hours was brilliant, as we were able to make 2 bowls and plates each while learning some basic techniques and getting the feel of the clay’s movement. Making the second piece felt a little rushed however, again, for a taster session, we could really immerse ourselves in the experience.

Our teacher was friendly and gave each person (8 of us) attention and guidance.

With firing and adding colours, the price goes up but it is understandable. The session itself was a great value for money, definitely worth it.

Hug Pottery Experience

We did the hug a vase experience to celebrate our anniversary (8 years is pottery) and had a fab time. The teacher was great, really helpful and friendly and took lots of photos of us. Loved the whole thing!

Even though I was a few minutes late I was able to easily join the class and receive guidance from the guy running the session and even ask for pics to be taken during my parts of my. Once you’re done you can even have you piece fire blasted ready for collection in 8 weeks

My family and I had a great time. It was a unique anniversary present for my husband and I decided our daughters would love it too - and they did. It was lots of fun to get stuck in and make our own bowls and cups rather than just decorating pre-made ones.

My sister and I had a two hour pottery throwing taster class. This was my birthday treat. So glad we attended. We had a wonderful time. Raymond, our teacher, who is very knowledgeable, explained and showed us the whole process. He was also very patient with us. I made a coffee cup and snack bowl and my sister made a mug and rice bowl. We enjoyed it so much, we are going to attend another taster class, so we don't forget what we were taught and then join the six week beginner class. The atmosphere of the studio is bright and relaxing. If you are thinking about doing pottery, I highly recommend Blanc Ceramics. Definitely give it a go. You will not be disappointed. We can't wait to see the end results of our creations. Thank you Raymond and co.

Had a two hour class and was able to learn the basics to make a couple of items. The teacher was knowledgeable and very patient. The studio was lovely, bright and airy a warm, welcoming environment.

The team were so kind, attentive and welcoming, the teacher is great at explaining the techniques and supports you to make the piece that you want, whether its a vase or a cup or an ashtray.

The space is also has lots of natural lighting and has a calm atmosphere.

Definitely recommend!

Both teacher are very professional and patient. My whole family, including my 11 yr-old boy enjoy the session very much.

The 1 hr taster session is a very good start for anyone who is interested in pottery. You can make a small little vase or small bowl. Would recommend this studio.

This was my second time attending a Wheel Throwing Class at Blanc Ceramics and I loved it! The teachers are really clear when going through the steps and are really attentive during the class, checking on everyone's progress. I really liked that the teachers ask whether we're happy with the final product and help us achieve our desired designs.

The class was a perfect gift for Mother's Day and it was lovely to attend as a group.

A very fun and interactive pottery making class. The trainers Raymond and Rosemary were incredibly helpful and patient. The class was full and we can make a choice of small items. It was an enjoyable experience. You will need to come back another time to paint your item - local fees apply.
