In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to create a soothing salve that nourishes and protects hard-working hands. - This all-in-one balm is perfect for smoothing very chapped skin, repairing damaged skin, reducing scar tissue, and soothing bruises.
You may be new to making skincare products, but fear not, as expert guidance will be provided throughout the class. - We will be working with high-quality ingredients and discussing their beneficial properties. - The experience is designed to be calming and therapeutic, allowing you to connect with the healing power of natural remedies.
By the end of the workshop, you will have gained valuable knowledge on skincare formulation and will take home your own custom-made salve. - This transformative experience will leave you with a newfound appreciation for the healing potential of botanical ingredients.

I am a community artist and can usually be seen at festivals in Milton Keynes teaching one craft or another. I have over 2o years experience working in schools and supporting interactive learning.
However, my biggest passion is turning old fabric, unwanted fabric or clothes that belonged to loved ones into rugs, table runners, wall hangings, jackets...such beautiful transformations that I am hooked and happy to stay that way!
I am also a children's story writer, textile designer, a performance storyteller and love everything creative!
In addition, I am the programme director and founder of Acornfields Community Interactions in Milton Keynes, a non-profit community organisation that run intergenerational art projects and multicultural events that promote community cohesion.
