What you'll do
In this welcoming mosaic moon & hare workshop, you’ll learn how to transform simple tiles into a charming moonlit hare design to take home. No previous experience is needed: you’ll be guided through each stage, from choosing colours and planning your composition to shaping, arranging and securing your mosaic pieces.The workshop is a relaxed, creative activity where you can work at your own pace. You’ll explore how to use ceramic tiles, glass, mirrors and other materials, discovering how different textures and shades bring your artwork to life. Clear demonstrations and friendly support will show you how to handle tools safely and achieve beautiful results, even if you’re completely new to mosaics.As you create, you may find yourself feeling calmer, more confident and absorbed in the moment. By the end, you’ll have learnt a rewarding craft, enjoyed time away from everyday pressures and made a unique moon-and-hare artwork to proudly take home and display.

The Curiosity Corner in Boyton, Wiltshire came about whilst led on my sunbed in Spain last summer... Im getting to a big birthday in July and it's not 21 :-) the big 60 so after working full time in an office since the age of 17 ive been thinking of what to do with my life and an advertisement came up with a lovely unit to rent on a site called the Ginger Piggery where local artists have units and sell hand made crafts etc and we also have a wonderful cafe on site too. So I had a light bulb moment and thought let's make a creative workshop space for people to come and spend a couple of hours to have some down time and relax and enjoy time out. I am lucky to have Sarah who has a degree in Art and has multiple talents, drawing, painting, felting and lots more. We offer weekly Art workshops and craft workshops. We are always open to suggestions so if you don't see anything you like in our timetable feel free to drop us a line and we try to accommodate what you would like to do. We offer private parties for hen do's, birthdays, or just a chance for a group of friends to get together.
