What you'll do
Want to get creative? Come along and unleash your inner artist at this fun half-day mosaic-making class in London!
During this craft workshop, your friendly teacher will guide you through an array of mosaic techniques before you're let loose on an extensive range of materials. The studio will be decorated and played music to set the mood of the theme of the workshop.
Each of these workshops have specific themes
- Fri 27th Oct 6.30 – 9.30 pm: Lucky Black Cat/Day of the Dead. We guide you through the essential mosaic skills and techniques required to create a Lucky Black Cat motif or do a Day of the Dead skull! Our studio is packed full of beautiful mosaic tiles for you to choose from and use in your piece.
- Sun 10th Dec 1-4 pm: Mosaic a Christmas Plant Pot. We will guide you through the essential mosaic skills and techniques required to create a Mosaic Plant Pot! You will be supported to explore the pattern and rhythm of mosaic making. Perfect in your home or as a Christmas gift!
- Sun 10th March 2024 1.30 pm - 4 pm : Mosaic mirrors. We will guide you through the essential mosaic skills and techniques required to create a mosaic mirror. You will be supported to explore the pattern and rhythm of mosaic making. Perfect in your home or as a Mother's Day gift!
- Fri 14th June 2024 6.30 pm - 9 pm: Slate Mosaic. We guide you through the essential mosaic skills and techniques required to create a flower slate mosaic. You use broken pottery, china, glass, buttons, figurines, and/or jewelry that are cemented onto a base to create a new surface.
- Sat 5th Oct 5th 2024 1.30 pm – 4pm: Cloud or rainbow mosaic. We guide you through the essential mosaic skills and techniques required to create a mosaic word cloud or rainbow.
- Sun 1st Dec 2024 1.30 pm - 4 pm: We guide you through the essential mosaic skills and techniques required to create mosaic Christmas decorations and gifts.
New to mosaic making or even art and craft in general? Don't worry, during this beginner-friendly class, your teacher will be on-hand throughout to help you create a piece of art you can take away and treasure.
Hosted in a large venue with a gated garden, there will be plenty of space for you to spread out and get creative!
At the end of the class, you'll have a gorgeous mosaic to call your own and perhaps a new favourite hobby too!

Art4Space has over 20 years experience with mosaic and the creative industry. They have secured over 350 commissions including The Shard, Silver at Royal Hampton Court Show, Leytonstone Tube Station, London's longest mosaic and London largest school mosaic. You will be taught by one of the directors or leading artist (Julie, Natti and John). Art4Space is an award winning not-for-profit social enterprise founded and run by professional artists. They put visual art at the center of everything they do, connect and enhance communities and inspire individuals through creativity.
