What you'll do

Embrace your creative potential and craft-along with like-minded others as you design and make a trio of mini mosaic birds to hang in your home at this fun mosaic art class.

You'll learn from a talented local teacher, who'll show you all the tips and tricks you need to transform a selection of glass tiles, beads and buttons into a perfect piece of mosaic wall art that will look great in any room of the house.

Your talented teacher will supply all the equipment and materials you need for your class, so all you have to worry about is deciding what colour to make your birds!

This beginner-friendly experience is a great chance to get involved in DIY crafts with your loved ones and learn some mosaic making skills, so why not book as a group and discover new passions together?

As your workshop draws to a close, you'll be able to stand back and admire your finished piece as you share your work with the class. You'll head home feeling relaxed, with all the knowledge you need to whip up more marvellous mosaics in future! You'll also have your wonderful mini birds to take away with you to cherish.

You are required to rub your hands, with anti-bacterial gel, on arrival and departure. This will be provided.
You will be reminded on a regular basis to wash your hands for 20 seconds with water and soap and the importance of proper drying with disposable towels
Classes will be kept to a maximum of 10 people
Workspaces will be separated by 2m
Reminded to catch coughs and sneezes in tissues – Follow ‘Catch it, Bin it, Kill it’ and to avoid touching face, eyes, nose or mouth with unclean hands. Tissues will be made available throughout the studio
Each participant will have their own tools, equipment, and materials to use on their table, that will be deep cleaned thoroughly after each workshop.

As a trained secondary school art teacher with 20 years' experience delivering creative projects, I strive to help people improve their wellbeing and quality of life, by making it easy, accessible and fun to get creative anywhere in the world.

With a passion for mosaic, there's so much I can do to show you and your friends how absorbing and enjoyable this colourful and tactile craft can be. Investing in yourself is important and focussing on something creative is so good for the soul. I know that mosaic is the perfect way to unwind for a couple of hours and by nurturing the bit of you that perhaps doesn’t get much attention, I can guarantee you will feel empowered, fulfilled and happy.

Whether on a workshop or through one of my kits, I really hope to inspire your creativity soon.

Lovely workshop making mosaic birds! Cannot recommend highly enough. 3 generations had an afternoon of fun learning a new skill together and we have our beautiful birds as a wonderful reminder.
