Mosaic and Chocolate Making Experience

2. We'll deliver a ClassBento Box to you - this is a physical DIY craft kit containing the materials you'll need. Shipping is free, and it should arrive within 2-4 business days. We ship nationwide.
3. Enjoy the online class. After booking, you'll receive a link to a Zoom meeting. At the time of the class, use that link to join. During the class, you can easily ask questions and get immediate responses. Zoom is free and easy to use, on any device. You're in control of your privacy - you can mute yourself and hide your webcam if and when you prefer.

Looking for fun things to do at home with your mum on Mother's Day? Join lovely ladies, Rachel (from Inspiring Creativity) and Yvette (from Harts Barn Cookery School) for a unique virtual experience, combining cooking and craft!

This Mother's Day special takes the classic flowers and chocolate gift and transforms it into something extra special. Learn two new skills, make a memory and have fun by creating your own striking stunning flower mosaic and delicious chocolates, all in the comfort of your own home.

For the mosaic making part of the online class, you will create your mini mosaic flower with helpful step-by-step guidance (so don't worry if you're a beginner!) and all the necessary supplies from your craft kit including colourful glass tiles, ceramic beads, petals and letters.

For the chocolate making part of the virtual experience, you will be guided through the activity by Yvette, learning the processes of:

• Tempering
• Flower chocolate lollies using transfer sheets as decoration
• Flower chocolates
• Decorated jazzles

At the end of this virtual class, you'll have some delicious chocolate treats to enjoy and a cute flower mosaic. This virtual experience is the perfect way to spend a day getting creative and enjoying the company of your mother, grandmother or daughter or son (even if it's only virtual)!


Please note:

• Full instructions on how to participate will be sent via email and you will need to have the Zoom app on your phone or laptop to participate.
• The chocolate is best made using a microwave, but you can heat the chocolate in a basin over hot water in a saucepan.
• We'll make the mosaic together during the online class, but we won't have time to grout as the glue will still be wet. Don't worry though, you will be signposted to a short demo and provided with enough grout to finish your piece off at a later date!

This Box and Live class is a great indoor activity idea for individuals and couples as well as for virtual team building activities at home. This is a fun indoor activity, suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 10 years old). An adult must be present whilst kid(s) engage with the box.
