What you'll do
Inspired by Venus, the goddess of love, beauty, prosperity, and victory, this creative online candle making class will give you new skills and a gorgeous handmade candle to be proud of.
Guided by your expert teacher, you'll make your venus candle by heating your soy wax, blending your essential oil, setting up the wick, and pouring your wax into the mould. Following a step-by-step process, you'll finish your session with your very own Venus candle.
Everything you need to make your candle is provided in your craft box which is delivered to you at home. You'll be able to re-use your Venus candle mould – super handy for making more candles in future!
As part of your candle making class, you'll learn about fragrance families and what top, heart, and base notes are. You'll also hear about the aromatherapy benefits of the New Romanic blend (rose geranium, chamomile, and sandalwood).
By the end of this creative candle making class, you'll have a host of new skills to allow you to make candles independently. You'll also have your own Venus candle to enjoy and inspire you.

Have you ever noticed that candles make everything better? We did, but we kept finding ourselves settling for candles that were made from synthetic fragrance and paraffin. And they were too expensive to light every day. Because of this, we spent a year testing hundreds of fragrances, mixing waxes and experimenting with wicks to create the kind of candles we’d been searching for. This is how Yougi was born!
We started our candle-making workshops as a way of sharing our knowledge and love of candles and aromatherapy. We are proud to say that our candles are cruelty-free, vegan, ethically sourced, eco-friendly and 100% natural.
