What you'll do
Embrace the chic boho style of modern macramé and discover how simple it is to make a beautiful wall hanging to spruce up your home. You’ll fall in love with this relaxing, engaging craft one knot at a time!
The Hobbycraft Artisan will take you through the knots you need to know, breaking down simple techniques so you can put them into practice. You’ll learn the lark’s head knot, half square knot, square knot and double half hitch knot as you bring the pattern to life. Whether you’re familiar with the basics of macramé or you’re a total beginner, this is a great way to craft a unique, handmade decoration. Use the macramé yarn and dowels included in your workshop craft kit to follow along.
You are likely to need a little extra time after the workshop is over to complete the project, but you’ll have learned all the necessary skills to finish in your own time. Once complete, your stunning piece will look wonderful on display in your home.

The macramé workshop today was absolutely brilliant. Considering I have never attempted it before I really enjoyed learning a new craft. Gisela was brilliant in explaining how to do the various knots and her instructions were easy to follow. I definitely would recommend this workshop to any beginner.

Ended up as a one to one class due to no other participants. Really don't know why there weren't more people as this class was great, teacher was really informative, took her time to explain everything and was just lovely really friendly and we had a great chat while we worked through the project steps.
Didn't quite finish the project but did later that day, made another the next day and can't wait to make more.

Lady who led them course was friendly and went at just the pace so you could keep up but didn't get bored for three next part. Kit came and the right time and with a generous amount of yarn so that there's plenty to do more by yourself. Found it easier than I thought I would to pick up. Especially being on a screen and but in person but the instructor need it so easy to follow, and really appreciate the discount code for further workshops, have already booked only a day later!

Brilliant class, so mindful. Never tired macrame before and wanted to give it a go. Great workshop as an introduction and teacher was really calm and patient and kept a great pace to be able to keep up with while being informative. Now have a beautiful wall hanging and have been looking at more patterns, definitely keeping macrame up as a craft.
