Craft a handmade wall hanging to spruce up your Halloween and autumn décor, using your macramé skills to put a unique twist on this spooky motif! The decoration combines seasonal style with a classic craft and it’s the perfect way to master macramé.
The Hobbycraft Artisan will take you through the knots you’ll need to know, breaking down simple techniques so you can put them into practice. Whether you’re familiar with the basics of macramé or you’re a total beginner, this is a great way to craft handmade Christmas decorations.
Using the lark’s head knot, the half hitch and the gathering knot, you’ll be able to bring a unique bat design to life. This combination of knots will culminate in a stunning bat wall hanging, with the dowel included for display.
At the end of the workshop, you should have a finished wall hanging that’s ready for display. If you need more time, you can continue after the workshop is over using the skills you’ve learned.
