Are you interested in learning about the wild plants that grow around us? You may be surprised to find out that people used to eat local wild plants to survive and most of the plants around us are edible and tasty to boot! Luckily, UK native species have an unmatched voracity for springing up in least likely of places.

Explore the wild plants near where you live with this wild food foraging class in and around Liverpool. You'll be guided by an expert forager with more than 15 years of experience in identifying edible and non-edible UK plants.

Join this fun exploratory class and discover a wealth of forgotten foraging knowledge with a wild food forage. If you're in the area, your teacher can travel to your location to help you explore your local patch!

As part of your foraging class, you'll find out:

  • How to identify tasty UK natives that grow all around us.
  • Which are the poisonous species to avoid and any lookalikes to watch out for.
  • Any medicinal, herbal, folklore stories regarding the different species.
  • Things to be aware of and look out for when foraging.

Join this fun class and get foraging!

Please note:
As some locations are used heavily by dog walkers, the advice given in this plant class is for plant identification only.
