What you'll do
Learn the secrets for juicy and flavourful meatballs and build up your cooking skills to make a fluffy and fresh flatbread in this online cooking class.
Albondigas de carne (meatballs) are a traditional meal in many Argentinian homes! Each family will have their own version, and in this live-streaming cooking class, you'll get the chance to learn the best tips and tricks to create your very own meatballs and flatbread from a friendly expert.
You can eat these meatballs with tomato sauce on rice or spaghetti, as a soup, or street food style with a flatbread! You can even add some Salsa Criolla for the perfect gaucho touch!
You'll bake amazing and fresh flatbread too, which is a great way to learn the basics of bread baking using your kitchen oven or grill.
You'll finish this online cooking class feeling connected with new cultures and ready to put your new cooking skills to the test!
What to bring
For the meatballs:- 500 grams minced beef.
- 1 x large onion.
- Milk (or plant-based milk).
- 1 x egg.
- Garlic.
- Six tbsp ground Parmigiano Reggiano or equivalent.
- Chilli flakes.
- One handful of fresh flat parsley.
- Oregano.
- Thyme.
- Basil.
- Dijon mustard (optional).
- Breadcrumbs.
- Olive oil.
- Salt and pepper.
For the flatbread:
- Bread flour.
- Instant dry or fresh yeast.
Salsa Criolla:
- 1 x tomato.
- 1 x red onion.
- Fresh chilli of your choice (optional).
- Coriander (cilantro) leaves.
- White wine vinegar (or cider).
- Olive oil.
- Salt and pepper.
