What you'll do
Do you love mochi? Come along to this London cooking class and discover a new, extra-special kind!
During this Chinese cooking class, you will learn how to make authentic Chinese mochi (青团) with special herbs, Artemisia argyi (艾草) – this green herb brings a lovely flavour and colour to the mochi. This special type of mochi is a seasonal food usually served in early April, so come and discover it while you can!
During this fun cooking class, you will learn:
- Prepare the dough.
- Prepare the fillings.
- Wrap your mochi.
- Cook and eat mochi.
Your friendly teacher will guide you every step of the way, making this an ideal and fun cooking class for beginners – all abilities are welcome!
After all the fun of wrapping, stuffing, and cooking, you can eat your mochi at your class or take it home for your friends and families.
Diet and Allergy
- It is gluten-free food.
- It is dairy-free food.
- It is suitable for Vegan.
Add-on Classes
- You can learn the basic mochi in the same class with the add-on. It takes an extra 30 minutes.
- You can add bubble tea or bubble cocktails to make the class more fun.
Notice
- Please do not bring your own drinks or food to the class.
- This class is not suitable for pregnant women and young children as the workloads and class might be too long for them.
Refund and Reschedule
Please book the date you definitely can attend to help other customers' bookings.
- There is no refund for cancellation.
- Later than 15 minutes to the agreed time will see the booking cancelled with no refund or reschedule.
- Possibility of Reschedule is very limited and will be charged £50 per booking.

Knowledge required
- Beginners are very welcome.
- Children over 14 are welcome and must be accompanied by at least one adult. All require tickets.
- A person under 18 cannot attend the class alone. We will ask for valid IDs if you look very young. Your class will be cancelled without a refund if you fail to provide proof. It is for your safety and required by the insurance policy. If we don't follow it, this class will not be allowed to continue. Thank you for your understanding.

Currently we have more than 20 different cooking classes, and 3 tasting sessions, focus on authentic and traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean food.
