The Christmas wreath making workshop in London is all about creating a unique and beautiful wreath from scratch using only dried materials. You'll learn some really useful craft skills and have a fun and festive time whilst creating something lovely!
You'll learn to make your Christmas wreath in a large and beautiful studio space. Your completed wreath will be a bit bigger than your average wreath and will make a gorgeous statement in your home or on your door this winter.
Your teacher's style is very inspired by the natural world so expect a beautiful selection of material to play with. This wreath making experience is very focused on experimentation and you'll get lots of expert advice from your teacher on how to arrange your materials for the most knock out results!
At this London wreath making class, you can expect to learn an easy way to make your own Christmas wreath! This will include learning how to wire a variety of materials and join them together perfectly. But most importantly you will get to play with an amazing selection of natural dried flowers, and really create that perfect seasonal decoration.
This class is a really fun and relaxing introduction to floristry. No prior knowledge or experience is needed to make a Christmas wreath to treasure! You'll head home with some great new knowledge, as well as with a beautiful arrangement of your own making.
Sophie is a florist based in London with a natural style emphasising movement, form and seasonal plants and flowers. Her style references nature heavily, showing the same respect to foliage as to standout flowers. Sophie has a background in sculpture and fine art which informs a lot of her current practice with flowers.
Having tutored art students in the past Sophie has brought this experience to floristry, creating engaging classes covering the basis of traditional practical techniques fused with her own personal style. Guests will learn important key skills and arrangement theory and then be encouraged to have fun with their own creations :)
