Mochi are increasingly popular desserts in the UK. Learn how to make these delicious Japanese delicacies at this creative online baking class. Taught by an experienced chef, you'll gain a range of new culinary skills and will learn the history and culture behind the popular desserts.
Throughout your online cooking class, you'll learn how to:
- Make the dessert pastry.
- Make your filling.
- Wrap your desserts.
- Decorate and pack what you've made.
If time permits, your teacher will show you how to make some different varieties.

Refund and Reschedule

- Later than 15 minutes to agreed time will see booking cancelled with no refund or reschedule.
- Possibility of Reschedule is very limited and will be charged £50 per booking.

What you'll get in your craft kit
- Rice flour for Mochi.
- Red bean.
This box contains dry ingredients only – you will need to supply the fresh ingredients yourself. We strongly recommend you source all ingredients locally and choose the 'class only' option as it is more cost-effective and better for the environment.
What you'll need
- Milk.
- Butter.
- Sugar.
- Veg Oil.
- Steamer.
- Rolling Pin.
You will receive a pre-class file. It explains the ingredients and equipment needed. Please have these ready before your class.
