What you'll do
Feel like getting creative? In need of some fun things to make at home? Unleash your creativity with a little DIY home decor and make your very own vase with this live online pottery making class.
Using the materials from your DIY pottery kit, you'll learn how to make a stunning ceramic vase for dried or artificial flowers. You'll make your pottery alongside your talented ceramicist teacher and you'll be taking through the making process step by step, giving you plenty of time to build your skills.
Your friendly teacher will teach you some simple coil hand-building techniques that are fun and easy to do. You will then use these techniques and follow along at home as you make your creation. You'll learn through clear visual demonstrations and will receive lots of support as you try your new skills.
Don't worry if you're a beginner when it comes to DIY pottery, this fun and laid-back virtual experience will teach you all you need to know and you can expect to end the class with a clay creation to be proud of!
As you will be using air-drying clay, you'll use your hands to shape and mould a beautiful functional creation that requires no time in the kiln. Once dry, your vase can be painted after your class using acrylic paint for more creative fun!
