What you'll do

Fancy some fish? Come along to this cookery class in London and learn to whip up some delicious fish dishes like a pro! Whether you're looking to expand your culinary horizons, are treating a foodie friend to a unique gift or just want to find new things to do in London, this course is quite the catch.

After being introduced to The Avenue's expert chefs, you'll get some in-depth demonstrations on everything you need to know to prepare all manner of fish dishes. From filleting and de-boning both flat and round fish to salt baking and en papillote techniques, you'll pick up a plethora of pescetarian prowess at this cooking class in London!

You will of course get the chance to try all of the delicious dishes that are demonstrated before shooting off to your station to give it a go yourself, as you prepare for the evening's two fish courses (due to the nature of the class being fish focussed, the chefs will prepare all the non-fish/seafood elements of the menu).

You will carefully fillet and cook a sea bass for your main course and cook your scallop to perfection for your starter. The chefs will be going around helping you and will have given you all the tips and tricks, including how to cook your fish and seafood to perfection — no more rubbery scallops!

Having cooked up a storm, you will get to enjoy a delicious three-course meal among friends old and new, accompanied by bottomless wine — you've earned it!

Sample menu: (subject to change due to seasonality and availability)

Scallops with pea purée
Pan-fried sea bass with rustic squash, samphire and a dill velouté
Lemon possets with berry coulis and rosemary thins

Please note:
Can cater for a gluten-free diet on request, but no alternative will be provided for the rosemary thins and velouté.
