Wedding Ring Making Class

Create beautiful wedding bands in an authentic workshop in Central London.

4 hours Class size 1 to 2     label £350 per class

An opportunity to have the unique experience of making your very own wedding bands in gold.

An experience to remember, this hands-on workshop will have you working with the metal directly learning how to saw, shape, solder, polish and finish a beautiful wedding band. Once your handmade rings are complete, they will undergo the assaying and hallmarking process at the Assay Office (this is an added cost of approximately £25.00 each). This can take approximately 2 weeks and can be posted to you or picked up from the studio. There is an overnight service but costs are approx £40.00 per piece. Customised engraving can also be arranged.

Please note that the workshop fee covers all consumables plus the creation of TWO rings, allowing the option of one person making both if desired. It also includes a pre-consultation to determine the thickness, karat, colour and size you wish to use to make your rings. The purchase of the gold is charged at cost and can fluctuate daily.

It is recommended that the workshop takes place at least 6 weeks before any special event where the rings will be needed.
Unfortunately, neither platinum or palladium available for this workshop, but the possibilities with gold are endless!
