What you'll do
Whether you've always wanted to learn to paint and didn't know where to start or you're looking for romantic date ideas in London, this al fresco watercolour painting class will see you painting in the park as the beauty of nature inspires you.
You'll begin with an introduction to watercolour from your expert host, including basic techniques and the four main pillars to creating a successful painting: composition, tone, edges and colour. Your friendly, knowledgeable teacher will also share his deeper experience of painting in nature and the importance of achieving a balanced state before beginning. Then there will be a demonstration by the teacher, sharing step by step his thoughts and ideas. After which you can attempt your own painting using your surroundings as inspiration.
Don't worry if you're a complete beginner, as your teacher will be on hand to provide any assistance required. All you'll have to do is settle in, focus your mind and, most importantly, enjoy the experience!

My name is Prasad, I have a background in Art, studying a BA in Illustration and then an MA in Traditional Arts.
My childhood in the foothills of the Himalayas has fostered a strong appreciation for nature which has influenced my work a lot.
Painting watercolours enables me to directly express this love for nature in a spontaneous and free manner.
I also love to teach and share my knowledge, it's wonderful to see people's early appreciation for a new skill and it also helps in my own work to grow and improve.
