Looking for unique things to do in Bristol? Come along and get crafty by the water with this special art class on a boat.

During this workshop in Portavon Marina on the River Avon (near Keynsham Station) a short distance from Bristol & Bath, you will learn how to make your own small-scale wire and bead sculptures which make ideal thoughtful gifts as well as keepsakes for your home. You will have the option to make a mobile hanging sculpture or a standing wire sculpture — the choice is yours.

The best part? You get to unleash your creativity on the comfortable and cosy (covered and heated) deck of a beautiful Caribbean Cruiser moored in picturesque Portavon marina. Use the gentle waters as inspiration for your art!

New to wire sculpting? Don't worry, your friendly teacher and award-winning sculptor, Barbara, will be there to guide you to produce a great piece.

You will have everything you need to get creating, including examples for inspiration, a choice of coloured wires to work with and of course a glass of wine to get you into the creative flow.

At the end of the art class, you will have a finished impressive wire sculpture to take home, some newfound skills and a sense of relaxation having enjoyed crafting and creating in such a tranquil setting. What's not to love?
