What you'll do

Are you a fabulous foodie looking to tantalise your tastebuds with new and exciting flavour combinations? This cooking class in the heart of London is the perfect way to learn all about one of Taiwan’s most famous signature dishes - gua bao!

Whether you’re searching for team building events, fun group activities or just want to go it alone and mix with some like-minded people, you’ll get the chance to connect with one of our amazing local chefs, who’ll show you how to knead, fill and steam your way to beautiful bao.

Don’t worry if this is your first time trying out a cooking class, all of our workshops are suitable for beginners and aim to make learning completely accessible for everyone. We’ll provide all the ingredients and equipment you need, so you can focus on relaxing and learning some fantastic new skills with your group.

Your London cooking class will begin with a warm welcome from your expert teacher, who’ll provide you with a glass of wine and a friendly atmosphere. They’ll provide a demonstration of the equipment and techniques you’ll use before it’s your turn to take over and explore the beauty of Taiwanese cuisine.

You’ll use your new knowledge to whip up some brilliant buns and choose from a selection of fillings like crispy chicken and spiced duck to create truly amazing gua bao.

You’ll pair your creation with an Asian salad that will perfectly complement the rich tastes and flavours of your bao and finish with a flourish by seasoning your delicious dish.

Crispy chicken bao with pickled cucumber, homemade Asian mayonnaise and crushed peanuts.
Spiced pulled duck bao with pickled cucumber, homemade Asian mayonnaise and crushed peanuts.
Crispy paneer bao with pickled cucumber.
Homemade Asian mayonnaise and crushed peanuts.
Crispy Asian salad.

At the end of your workshop experience, you’ll get the chance to sit down and enjoy your amazing home-cooked meal with your group.
