What you'll do
Learn how to create a beautiful pair of silver drop earrings in this fun jewellery making workshop.
If you'd love to make your own earrings but haven't tried jewellery making before, this craft class is a brilliant opportunity to learn the skills you need. This jewellery class is completely beginner-friendly and you'll be guided step by step through the whole making process.
With support from your expert teacher, you'll learn how to:
- Mark out your earring design.
- Use a piercing saw.
- Add texture and final surface finishes.
- Create findings for your earrings - either ear wire or hoops.
By the end of your jewellery making workshop, you will be able to take home a pair of beautifully crafted silver drop earrings.
Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 2 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

Collette Dawn is a jewellery designer and maker based in Greater London. Since graduating from Glasgow School of Art 20 years ago, with a BA Hons in Silversmithing and Jewellery, Collette Dawn has continued to create private commissions as well as teaching jewellery making classes.
From her studio, Collette Dawn offers tailor-made jewellery making classes and workshops, where you can choose from a selection of projects and learn how to personalise them to suit your own tastes.
