What you'll do
If you're looking for unique alternatives to off the shelf accessories, look no further than this hands-on jewellery making course!
Guided by a local expert, this two-day craft workshop will teach you all the skills you need to create ten pieces of beautiful jewellery from your choice of style, perfect as handmade gifts or to keep yourself!
Day one:
In the first session, you'll get the chance to relax and get your hands messy as you discover the best techniques to mix paints and learn all about the chemical processes involved. Your teacher will demonstrate the stained glass technique used in acrylic jewellery making and provide plenty of support as you make two beautiful acrylic skins using vibrant colours. Each skin will measure approx 19cm x 14cm.
Day two:
Once your acrylic skins have completely dried, you'll learn all the tips, tricks and techniques needed to transform them into one-of-a-kind jewellery creations. From DIY earrings and necklaces to bespoke rings and keyrings — what you create is entirely up to you!
At the end of this two-day course, you'll have a selection of new skills and ten stunning pieces of handcrafted jewellery, each one totally unique and made by you!
