Georgia was a friendly and knowledgeable teacher. The class was well organised with all the equipment supplied and Georgia had lots of tips, suggestions and inspiration for us and we had plenty of time to practice, tweak and print our linocuts.

Absolutely loved the Linocut workshop! Georgia was a brilliant teacher, warm friendly and professional, never making us feel rushed! The art itself was so fun and therapeutic to create and honestly came out so nicely, it will definitely be getting framed and going up in the house! Highly recommend!!

Georgia was the loveliest teacher, so bubbly and friendly and her confidence shone through. She was an excellent teacher, giving us support when we needed it but also giving us space to create - the perfect combination. Would highly recommend this workshop, a total bargain and so much fun! Perfect for birthdays, hen/stag dos, Christmas presents or any other socials! We were so pleased with our creations and would love to do more workshops with Georgia in the future!

Print Your House - Beginner's Drypoint Etching Workshop
The class was really enjoyable. Georgia was excellent. She took the time to explain the process to us and continuously checked that we were ok. She didn’t seem to mind how many questions we asked and was very willing to help us. She didn’t rush us at all. It was lovely chatting with her and she seemed genuinely interested in us achieving a picture we were happy with. Overall it was a very positive experience. The Arc cafe was a lovely venue. The refreshments included in the course fee were very good. I would sincerely recommend this course.

Lino Print Workshop - Christmas Cards
This was such a fun and festive class! I went with my partner and this was out first time doing lino printing and we had such an amazing time. Our teacher Georgia was incredbily helpful and patient with us as she explained all the tips and techniques of how to lino print, and she demoed everything as we went along which was extremtely useful as we both find it easier to learn something after seeing it. I really enjoyed using the tools to carve into the lino to create my little house, and i especially liked the simpliclty of printing and creating the christmas cards once my lino carving was complete! This is the third class we've done (we did dry point etching and monoprinting earlier in the year) and once again we had a wonderful time learing a new skill in a friendly cosy environment, all the while having fun and making somthing to put in our homes. 10/10 would recomend doing this class if you like art and festive themed activities!

Good value for money. Very helpful and encouraging teacher. All materials and equipment provided. Lovely atmosphere created by tutor. Learnt a lot about the process and the teacher made helpful suggestions after each print was made about how to improve/change the resulting image.

Myself and my partner were looking for a fun date night activity that would be both relaxing and engaging and this hit the spot perfectly! We both really enjoyed how Georgia led the class, guiding us through and demonstrating each step but also leaving plenty of room for us to have our own artistic freedom with the pieces we were working on in the relaxed environment of the Fire Nest studio. All of our materials were provided for the class and we learnt techniques such as inking our plates along with ways to transfer the ink to our paper in varying levels of depth, and we both thought it was excellent value! My favourite part was the satisfaction of having completed and being able to take home my finished piece, and my partner particularly enjoyed the tracing element of the still life as it gave him much more confidence in his abilities to make something beautiful! This was a wonderful workshop and we would both highly recommend if you’re looking to dabble in a new skill or judging wanting to have fun making something cool!

Really enjoyed the class, great teacher, lovely venue, nice and relaxed. I'd never heard of dry point etching, so it was lovely to learn something new. Good value for money. I'll be looking out for more classes from Patience Studio.

Lovely class and great to try something new. The lady leading the class was friendly and encouraging. All the materials were provided and she was great at explaining alternatives you could try and home so you could try yourself without buying too much equipment. In terms of venue I did not know that this cafe existed but I will be back.

Beginner's Drypoint Etching Workshop
Myself and partner had a wonderful time at our first dry point etching workshop! We went in blind having never done this before and had a brilliant time learning what dry point etching is, the techniques used to create a piece, and what types of tools we’d need for it. Our teacher Georgia was fantastic, talking us through and demonstrating each step, and giving advice where needed on how to improve and make the most of each etching. All the materials were provided, and she even recommended items we could use at home if we wanted to keep creating outside of the class! We loved how engrossed we both became in the activity, along with the satisfaction we got from seeing our pieces come out of the press, along with everyone else’s excellent art! It was a wonderfully wholesome and encouraging environment, and we both loved the vibes of the cafe it took place in. 10/10 would go again and 100% recommend

Haven't done anything like this since school 40 odd years ago. Lovely venue and coffee. Georgia explained the process very well, all materials were provided and she patiently explained and demonstrated what to do. I think everyone was surprised at the excellent outcomes. Will definitely be looking out for the next event.
