Your teacher
My love for embroidery began 7 years ago in a workshop here in Bristol. From then I have been hooked! The mindful process of stitching, the ability to create truly unique and cherished gifts for loved ones - it all resonated deeply with me.Embroidery has been an incredible journey of creative exploration. I've constantly pushed my boundaries, experimenting with threads, colours, stitches and embellishments - inspired by the amazing artists I follow on Instagram.As a Secondary Art Teacher, I have had the privilege of nurturing young creativity. Running after-school embroidery classes was a joy - witnessing my students' imagination flourish and see their GCSE work come to life was incredibly rewarding.But my favourite part? Creating one of a kind embroidery pieces for my loved ones and watching their delighted reactions.Whilst living in the South East, I ran embroidery workshops and had to pleasure of connecting with other makers. I'm thrilled to be back in Bristol, where I am eager to immerse myself in the vibrant creative scenes, find inspiration and share my passion with others.I believe in fostering a relaxed and supportive learning environment where everyone feels comfortable to experiment and explore their creativity.
