Hi, I'm Beccy Gillat and I'm passionate about helping you to discover the wonderful world of jewellery making, silversmithing and more!

I run a number of different jewellery making courses in the beautiful village of Yardley Hastings which is conveniently located within easy reach of Northampton, Milton Keynes and Bedford.

There are courses to suit all levels of ability from complete beginners to those with some experience. One off workshops, multi week courses and 1:1 or private group booking all available, so please do get in touch if you have a specific technique you’d like to learn or special piece you would like to make.

I have years of experience and expertise from not only my studies (BA Metalwork and Jewellery making and MA Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery) but also from residential programmes, craft fairs and having my work displayed in art galleries across the world.

The workshop has come a really long way since Yardley Arts first opened 4 years ago. Originally the workshop was set to be a multi-use area and was named the craft room but I slowly took over the space and with my tool addiction and slowly filled the space with lots of kit.

It is a real pleasure to help someone make a piece of jewellery so personal to them that they will wear and treasure for a lifetime. Who knows it might even get passed down to younger family members one day.
