What you'll do
Want to add a personal touch to your or someone else's special event? Then join this virtual calligraphy course for five weeks of sprucing up your lettering art skills.
During these five calligraphy classes, you will look at different calligraphic styles such as romantic, whimsical, and modern. One of these might really capture the essence of your special day. We’ll also look at how you can produce faux calligraphy that will enable you to write on different and awkward surfaces.
Each live online class will be guided by a talented teacher that will share some tips and tricks as you explore eye-catching calligraphy. Use your new skills on invitations, RSVP envelopes, table numbers, place settings, tags and more.
Although a lot of new information and techniques will be covered, you should already have some experience in calligraphy as this is a beyond beginner level.
You will get a calligraphy kit with everything you need inside, using this and demonstrations from your teacher you will learn the pen control needed to transform your letters from choppy and shaky to smooth and elegant — a nice touch your guests will notice and love. We do also have a no kit option if you have some of your own tools, but you will still receive worksheets.
The joy of this calligraphy course is that not only will you gain the enviable skill of being able to create a wealth of stunning wedding stationery, but you’ll also be able to use these same skills for many other special occasions.

Knowledge required
Please note that the basic principles of modern calligraphy aren't covered - this is an intermediate-level course. You don't need to have much experience, simply to know how the nib and ink works and how to control the pressure and release of the pen.
What you'll get in your craft kit
Kit:- A penholder.

- A jar of water.
