We were gathering with family and friends - something we have always wanted to do. Teacher was good and explained stages well at good pace.
Nice relaxed atmosphere and fun.

Had a great evening last night painting 'Daisy'. It was a lovely friendly venue at The Cock Hotel, Wellington. Our Teacher, Tabby was very friendly, approachable and very good at explaining each stage. She was patient with us all trying to match the colour mixes and rescued us if we went wrong with minimal fuss almost like she had a magic wand. Our supplies for the evening were all laid out in advance and the paints were topped up as and when we needed them.
It was a friendly atmosphere and made you feel like you wanted to come back to another.
There was a lot of layering of the colours, building and adding depth to the finished picture, which I really enjoyed and could take a skill away with me to try at home.
I would definitely recommend, it wasn't too crazy or impersonal, in my opinion and I went on my own.
Finally there's a loyalty scheme after 5 visits you get a free class, which is another plus.

Really enjoyed my class with Tabby, she is a fabulous teacher, very patient and made the evening fun and interesting. Loved the simplistic steps to create my masterpiece! I went with a friend that swears she cannot create anything, at the end of the session she was on top of the world with her painting. Her words “I never believed I could do this and paint something you can recognise!!!” We painted the highland coo with daisies.
Great atmosphere among our group, everyone friendly and happy with their paintings. Sharing our work after was great fun, seeing what each other had created. Have been once before with Tabby and will definitely come along again. A great night. Thanks Tabby x

Really lovely class and pace of the teaching, good tips on different techniques and colour combinations. Interesting how we all followed the same instructions but all produced things different. Lovely music and setting. Would have. Liked a slightly smaller paint brush for detailing/fine lines but otherwise lovely selection of equipment

This is always a fab night out with the gang. We’re usually amazed at what we can produce and we have a lot of fun along the way.
Tabby is a brilliant host - she’s patient, explains things really clearly and gives us brilliant tips to help us get the effects we want.
This is our seventh session I think and I’m about to book our eighth.
Highly recommended - sip n paint is an amazing mood booster and - as someone who’s never been artistic - I’m really proud of what I’ve produced this month.

Teacher and assistant were so lovely, instructions were great (despite horrible mistake by venue making things difficult - absolutely not Tabby's fault at all, and she rose above it brilliantly!), paintings came out better than we'd imagined they could, and it was a good laugh. We've actually booked again with her, you won't be disappointed if you book one of her classes!

It looked like an impossible task but somehow I done it. Each stoke was taught step by step with clear instructions. It was my first experience. I even got to personalise my painting by having my cat painted on by Taby.

Excellent tutor and venue: Tabby at The Great Stone Inn. Enjoyed this fun learning session in a cosey traditional pub. You have a laugh and pick up useful little painting techniques. Tabby is very clear, helpful and patient. And you can take home the picture you painted.

A lovely way to spend time with my teenage daughter. She absolutely loved it but we have both come to the conclusion that we will never make a living from painting Teacher was very patient and helped with suggestions and colour corrections. Pace of the instructions was spot on giving plenty of time for everyone to be able to complete each part. Venue was great. It was lovely to be able to take our creations home.
