Chosen for a friend's birthday treat. Atmosphere was really good, with great music! A bit cramped in terms of space but not to the point where we were getting in each other's way. Pleasant, convenient venue and friendly staff.Mat was really good at explaining and demonstrating what to do, and how to do it. He timed the session very well and we were all finished in good time before the end of the session.

Me and my daughter attended the nightwatch session with Mat. Mat explained every step perfectly, from the amount of each colour to use when mixing paints, to which angel to hold the brush to get the desired effect. We will definitely book another in the future

I really enjoy the paint sessions with Matt, he makes it easy to follow along whilst giving guidance. Weather you are artistic or not this is a fun evening out with friends and you have your very own artwork to take home and hang on the wall or to gift someone.

Absolutely fabulous evening spent with my daughter who brought me this as my mother's day present.This was our 5th time, and 1st time with Matt, he was very knowledgeable and helpful though out the evening, It was a nice small and friendly mixed group, it was nice to paint something different from animals as we painted sunset pines. Highly recommend, no experience needed.

This is my 10th brush party & they just keep getting better. Last night we painted “El Gallo”, a fab painting, I really enjoyed painting this one. Mat is a brilliant teacher, very patient & always quick to help anyone who needs extra support. It’s a lovely opportunity to do something different with a great group of likeminded people.

This was a birthday present from my mum we both went and it was so good we had a lovely time painting a deer. Matt the teacher was really good and clear the atmosphere of the group was great lots of laughter. The venue was nice “The hideaway” I would highly recommend.

Started these classes to distract from a medical condition I was going through and to spend some quality time with my Mum. We painted a colourful Hare, “A good hare day”, and have discovered we are better at painting animals. Mat was great, he was very patient (despite how much of the white paint I kept using!)Nice, calm relaxed atmosphere, did not feel rushed.As this was our 6th brush party, we can see how much we’ve improved, and can’t wait for the next class!

This was a fun painting class with Mat. The venue was great, easy to park and grab a drink before we started. I love the fact that everything you need is provided, the tuition was mostly easy to follow but Mat was happy to help if and when people got stuck. No judgement and plenty of encouragement. It was fun to mix the colours, albeit a bit random in places! To leave with a finished painting that makes me smile is the icing on the cake.

Another great session. Really enjoy our painting classes. I’d like to think I’m improving, but the jury is out on that. Mat is brilliant. He explains things really well and the classes are really good fun, and good for relaxing and switching off to the noise of every day life. Can’t recommend Mat’s Brush Party sessions enough.

This is my 9th brush party & they just keep getting better. This time was extra special as my daughter joined me & she loved it as much as me . We painted ‘Nightwatch’ & Mat, as always, provided excellent easy to follow, step by step instructions. What I find particularly noteworthy is despite large numbers, he always finds time to help those who maybe struggling. Great night, highly recommended.

This turned out so well! Thought this was hardest one we tried so far and was not expecting much, but Mat was brilliant, session wasn't rushed at all and Mat was on hand to correct anything that went wrong or if one of us went a bit rogue! We all produced something we were chuffed to take home.

Really great evening- I went alone and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Mat was a fantastic teacher and happy to help and advise when needed.Venue was perfect- lots of space and reasonable lighting. Materials provided were good, though my fine brush had seen better days- I could have asked for a different one but didn’t really need it. All in all, a lovely way to spend a Thursday evening and I was relatively pleased with my painting even if it wasn’t much like Mat’s!
