Get creative with your Christmas traditions with the help of this unique crochet workshop! You’ll learn how the retro granny square can be used to create a stocking you’ll treasure for years to come.
The class is perfect for crafters familiar with basic crochet techniques, especially if you’ve already participated in our Beginner’s Guide to Crochet workshop. The optional craft kit includes everything you need, or you can follow along using your own supplies.
The class will take an online webinar format, giving you the opportunity to watch a live demonstration of the project while also being able to ask any questions. The host will lead you through different techniques over the course of two one-hour sessions, during which you can follow along. In the first session, you’ll create your first granny square using double and treble crochet. In the second, you’ll be shown how to lay out your squares and join them together.
You may need further time after the sessions are over to complete the project using the techniques you’ve been shown, but your stocking will be ready for Christmas before you know it!
